Bubble "Balloon"
Popping Contest
Divide guests into two equal groups. About 25 yards
away, place two bags of inflated bubbles/ balloons in colors to match
your theme colors. These balloons should be over inflated to make
popping easier. At the sound of a ringing bell or whistle, the first two
relay contestants, one from each team, run to the bag and remove one
balloon. Each must sit on it until it pops. Once the bubble balloon
pops, the player runs back to the starting line, and tags the next
player in line. The first team to complete the course wins. Not a quiet
game…but a guaranteed favorite! This one may sound like it is just for
kids, but your party will live on in your guests' memories forever if
you play this game!
Bubble Toss Games
Using an inexpensive kids pool play bubble toss using
ping-pong-balls. Add theme stickers to the ping pong balls, and have the
kids try to toss the balls "bubbles" into the pool from a
designated line. This game is a hit with kids of all ages! If you really
want to make a big splash, give all the little winners bubble necklaces
or bubble party favors when the game is finished.
Bubble Gum Blowing
Contest
Invite guests to a bubble blowing contest. Give each
guest one piece of bubble gum. Allow them a short time to chew it and
get it softened. Have each guest take three turns to blow a
bubble. After each person has had three attempts you will have to ask a
judge to choose the guest who blew the largest bubble. You could even do
the smallest bubble contest as well.
