When your
guests arrive they need to see a party atmosphere. Have your table set
with shell plates and pineapple cooler.
Hang a
Luau Custom Banner on your mailbox. Decorate your front door with
Luau Decorations and drape some of the fish net on it with a few cutouts or paper lanterns in
it. If your party is outside, tiki torches or luminary bags always add a nice touch. Fish
netting draped in doorways or behind buffet tables adds that nautical look. You can

Use a large selection of cutouts,
tissue décor, garlands and banners to place throughout the room or pool area. Place the

Two pieces of rope or string about 2 feet long.
Choose two guests to participate in the race. On even ground, place the
two pieces of rope about 15 – 20 yards apart. Have both contestants line
up behind one of the ropes. At the signal, each contestant USES THE

THEM TO THE FINISH LINE. Contestants may not touch the Flamingo with anything,
only fan with the plates. The first to cross the finish line wins.
Hot Hot Coconut
Have everyone sit in a circle. While the
Luau CD plays, the
Coconut Cup is passed around the circle. When the music is
stops whoever is left holding the
Coconut Cup leaves the circle. The last person left wins!
Ancient Hawaiian Games - Rolling
Stones
This ancient Hawaiian game is played similar to horseshoes. Set up
Tiki Balloon Lawn Sign in
the ground. Each person chooses a stone and tosses it at the post. Whoever throws the
stone that lands closest to the stick wins!
Foot Races
Ancient Hawaiians used to hold foot races to see which warrior was the fastest. You can
hold single-person races, three-legged races, and backwards-running races. Or use a burlap
bag to hold relay races.
