another Houdini the Magician!
Everyone wants to know the secret behind a Magician's tricks. Magic
is your theme!
Create a magical setting in your party area using these
decorating tips:
Place a
Magic Hat with a stuffed rabbit in the center of your table. Tie
brightly colored scarves end to end. Attach one end of the scarves to
the inside of the hat and tape the other end to the ceiling.
All of the rabbits are colored except for one - the white rabbit. Attach a paperclip to each rabbit and
drop them in the hat. In the likeness of a fishing pole, tie one end of
the string to the magnet and the other end to the magic wand. Have kids
draw a rabbit out of the hat, if they get a colored rabbit and give then
a small prize. The one who gets the white rabbit gets a bigger
prize.
Magic Trick Sets
Tape large playing cards on the table and walls. You can
draw simple cards on poster board using a marker.
Cut starburst shapes out of dark purple and blue or
black poster board and write magical saying on them in metallic gold and
silver marker. Hang around the party area. Use words such as
abracadabra, hocus pocus, etc.
