Princess Fairy Tale Theme
Hear Ye! Hear Ye! Calling all princesses of the
Kingdom to a royal celebration!
After selecting this theme for your party, choose a slogan to use in your invitations,
and to use in tying in decorations and favors to your princess or castle theme. Try one of
the following, or brainstorm with the birthday child to come up with the perfect slogan
for your party:
- "Princess Party 2001"
- "Castle Party at McKenzie's Magical Kingdom"
- "Hear Ye, Hear Ye
Princess Reagan is turning 4!"
- "Tiffany's Pink Princess Party"
- "Noble Knights
Join us at Jacob's Castle for Feasting & Festivities!"
Dreams Come True! The
castle invitation can be imprinted with your choice of wording
and you can use the
slogan you choose to set just the right tone for the party. If you are sending out
traditional paper or imprinted invites, consider sprinkling some magical palace powder in
the form of Sparkle Powder or Gold
Star confetti inside to give guests a sneak preview of the fun that awaits them!
Address each envelope to "Princess or Sir (first name) of (last name), adding a
"dom" or an "ingham" to the end of each last name. For example,
Shannon Wagner's invite could be addressed to "Princess Shannon of Wagnerdom".
As an alternative, consider attaching a computer generated or hand written tag with all
the party details to a mini crown, glass slipper, wand, or a toy fire-breathing dragon.
Attach the tag with curling ribbon, yarn, or a pipe cleaner.
The honored princess can have her very own star
wand and jeweled tiara. The Treat Box purse makes a cute centerpiece, plus you can
write the name of each princess on one for a cute placecard.

Invitations
Consider the style and types of invitations that would coordinate with your
theme. Make a statement to your guest when they open your invitation. Consider
fonts that reflect the style and motif of a Princess like Camelot
or Calligraphy. Address the invitations using a Calligraphy style. Carry your theme throughout your
planning even down to the stamps.
Favors:
Pretty little pewter "Love" and "Thank You" charms add a sweet accent
to your favors and gifts. The 1/2" diameter charms feature a hole at the top for easy
attachment with ribbon (sold separately).
These new candles make great favors for Bridal Showers, Sweet Sixteen or
luncheons. Packed in a gift box they make a great table decoration.
Champagne
Candles
Champagne Tapers! Looks like Champagne Bottles, but
really great tapers for your celebration table. Fits in standard candle holders.
Make A Wish
Instead of the traditional toasting have each guest toss coins into a fountain. They must
make a wish before they toss the coin. You may want them to write their wishes in a book
before they toss the coin. These wishes will become treasures. It will be great fun to
read the wishes year after year.
Decorating:
Ribbons & Roses.
Behind head table: 5 clusters of 9 Balloons each, joined with Colorful
Satin Ribbon paint a backdrop of the palace entrance with a staircase on each side
Bridal
Lights and Gossamer flowing, draped from the ceiling.
Entrance: Use beds of tulle on the
floor and fill both sides with Balloons
and/or small soft lights (twinkle lights would work) for a cloudy, dreamy effect. Bridal
Lights and Gossamer add extra romance to any indoor or outdoor wedding.
Use Scepters and Crowns for favors or on the tables for great decorations:
