You can cut out characters from cereal boxes, toy boes, magazine and books to use as wall decorations.

Pass the Hat Game

Divide kids into two teams. Have each team form a circle. Have one person in each circle put a hat on their head.  The hat must get passed completely around the circle from head to head. The first team to pass the hat all the way around wins.

Balloon Buddies Activity

Balloon buddies can be created by using foot prints as anchors.

Materials:

• 9" paper plate
• Scissors
• Hole punch
• Colored markers
• 11" balloons
• Curling ribbon

For each character's set of feet cut out a foot template from a 9" paper plate. Use the model below. Cut a slit in the back between to heals to insert a balloon. Blow up an 11" balloon for the feet and knot the end. Using markers, carefully help children draw faces on the balloon. Slip the knotted end of the balloon into the slit on the feet. The animal balloon buddy should stand up on its own feet to form the balloon buddy..
